Why should American companies look to Finland?

Finland is a technology superpower in clean energy, AI, quantum computing, advanced manufacturing, and smart mobility. Global leaders such as GE Healthcare, Amazon, Microsoft, LG Electronics, and Applied Materials have established R&D hubs there, while Microsoft, Google, and Equinix have invested in large-scale data centers powered by Finland’s clean energy and stable infrastructure. With Aalto University and VTT at the forefront of quantum research, and a culture built on trust and collaboration, Finland consistently turns science into scalable solutions — making it a uniquely reliable partner for innovation and impact.

Why should Finnish companies look to New England?

Boston and the New England region offer one of the most dynamic entry points into the U.S. market. Long recognized for leadership in biotech and finance, the area is now a thriving hub for AI, adtech, and international scale-ups. With a deep concentration of universities, research centers, and investors, Boston provides unmatched access to talent, networks, and capital. Combined with time-zone alignment with Europe and a business culture that values Nordic trust and know-how, New England is the natural launchpad for Finnish companies expanding into the U.S.
